Overview

Harvey Nichols is one of Britain's most recognised luxury department stores with a global online presence. We worked embedded within their engineering team on the migration of their e-commerce platform from React to Next.js, specifically owning the account and wishlist sections of the site.

The brief

Working within an established codebase and large engineering team, we rebuilt the account and wishlist sections from the ground up in Next.js, using Redux for state management, React Context where appropriate and SCSS for styling. Jest was used throughout for unit testing, ensuring the migrated sections were reliable and production ready.
