Overview

Collecting Cars is a prestige high-end online car auction house. We were brought in to rebuild their sell your car flow from the ground up. The old journey required sellers to manually input their vehicle details and wasn't converting. We rebuilt it with automatic vehicle lookup via reg plate, reducing friction and turning more visitors into enquiries.

The brief

We integrated the Autograb API to handle automatic vehicle lookup, pulling accurate car details the moment a reg plate is entered. The flow was rebuilt in Next.js and TypeScript with smooth transitions via Framer Motion, keeping the experience fast and intuitive at every step. Design was led by the Collecting Cars team. The result was a 40% increase in enquiries from the sell flow alone.
